Thankful Thursday
Hi Vickie....I agree we all have something to be thankful for. It is so nice that Mike can help you with the lawn. That is a pretty good exchange for the nice furniture you are giving them. Win Win!!
I hope Sam showed up. I know how anxious you are to get things finished around there.
So Butch actually had an appetite this morning...YAY!! My favorite breakfast is biscuits with gravy!!! I haven't had any in many years.
Good job Christie...knowing about that switch saved your mom the headache of having it repaired, the waiting for it to work, not to mention $$$$$!!!!! I have known people that had dishwashers like that but I never had one. I should have thought about that switch....CRS!!
I have been praying for Eileen. I hope she does go and talk to a counselor about what happened. It is going to affect her more then she knows. I am still scared he will try to get back in. I hope all the windows are locked!! I love you Eileen...you are such a great lady. Please take good care of yourself. CALL or text if you need too!!
I went shopping by myself to Shopko (like Target). I needed more vitamins. They had a good sale on them today. Plus I had a coupon for $10 off!!
Have a good evening....love you...hugs...connie d
I am on my to Chicago. Im with my sister. No driving for this trip. I cant drive a stick shift car.

I know what an abusive relationship is. Ive seen it in multiple families That are close to me. My heart goes out to Eileen.
Eileen will probably need to seek consulting over this just to clear her head. Just my opinion.

Hi Christine and my OFF family:
Thanks for all the well wishes and advice. Richard has not called since early this morning. I just got off the phone with a local domestic violence advocacy center, because I wasn't sure how you file a protective order if you have no way to serve it on the person. She said the legal advocates were out of the office until Monday, but she said that's a sticky question so I should call back. I'm still shaken up by last night's events and called in sick. Joan was OK with it and told me to take care of myself. I can't believe this has happened. How could I not see this coming?
Anyway, thanks to all of you for listening. I talked with Richard's mom for a good hour today and got an earful of his behavior ... his brothers were about to have him arrested for theft when he was in Georgia because he used his mom's credit card to charge $3,000 to iTunes. And she gave him $200 when he left; I gave him money for a bus ticket and his friend gave him money for a bus ticket ... so he was triple dipping on that bus ticket up here. And there were lots of other lies. I'm sure the breakin here (where my vicodin was stolen, his keys were stolen, etc.) was another big lie ... I thought that from the beginning.
This has just exhausted me.
Eileen....HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I AM SO SO sorry for all you have been through!!!! That SOB needs to be kept locked up in a nut house til he can prove he is OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How did your exam turn out? Did the bite puncture the skin? A human bit is worse than an animal bite can be!!!
Get some rest and hopefully you never see or hear from that beast again!!!!!!
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Thank GOD for that then!!! I know how afraid you are...been there...maybe you could call the police and explain to them how bad off you are in pain and maybe they can come to your place so you can file charges? Just a thought...also ask them to patrol more often in your area if Richard is out and about now!!!!! But I hope he is locked up!!!! And I agree with Connie...check your windows and make sure they are locked so he can't get in through them....and did your landlord change your locks for you? If not...put a chair or something under the knob so it can't be opened!!!
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Eileen,
I'm so happy you called the advocacy center. Could you call or go to the police station tomorrow to file a report? They may also be able to help you with your question about serving it. Just filing for the order of protection may be of some help. I do know it's exhausting and horrible, but I worry about you waiting until Monday. Just a thought.
I'm very proud of you for taking all these steps. You're amazing. Please put your safety and your recovery first. You have a lot of love here!

Hi Eileen...I am so glad you took the night off work. You need some time to recover. I am glad your supervisor agreed.
You said you should have seen this coming with Richard. Don't you go blaming yourself for any of this. You didn't do anything and you didn't deserve this done to you!! You are just so kind and want to believe in people. You wanted to help him because he helped you. It was okay at first then his behavior changed on a dime! We could see it differently because were weren't there. You didn't have anything to go on other then his word. You wanted to believe him and that he wouldn't do the things he did. I am so sorry it turned out like this.
Please go into all your rooms and make sure the windows are all locked and all the doors. You should check out his room and make sure nothing else of yours is in there. Did you contact the landlord to get the locks changed? Maybe he hid the keys in his room. I would be checking things over really well.
Being lied to is never easy to take. You are making some good decisions. Put yourself FIRST!!!!!! There is nothing else you can do for him but keep him out of your life. I feel so bad that he used his mother and you and a friend...that is unforgivable!!
Try to relax and find something to watch and keep your mind off of this situation. I know that is easier said then done.
God Bless you....still sending prayers!
Love and many hugs on the way.....connie d
